April 1947 was a special day for Mr & Mrs Fonseka (Gilbert and
Seelwathie) as Seelwathie gave birth to a beautiful baby girl
following the two elder boys.
The
fair chubby baby girl was named " WANNIARACHCHIGE MALANI SENEHELATHA
FONSEKA". When Mr & Mrs Fonseka took the horoscope of the new
born baby to an Astrologer, he predicted that the horoscope belonged to a
person who's going to become a queen in the country one day.
"
My Father worked for the Government Printers. He was extremely patient. At
times he was like a saint and I understood the sensitive side of him. His
peaceful ways has been transformed into my soul through genes. Also my
Mother who was the largest shadow in my life was a very strong woman. She
has done many difficult tasks to make the lives of her 11 children
successful"
